MakeX U50

The 3D printer MakeX U50 prints wax volumes for the
lost wax casting

Depending on the choice of resin, the 3D printer MakeX U50 can produce high-durometer-hardening plastics for high-precision model making or for dental models of a dental technician's work as well as very fine, easily melting wax pieces for metal casting of dental inserts.

LOST WAX CASTING
MakeX M-Cast

Many of our everyday metal objects, such as cutlery or door and window handles, are modeled in their original form from a burnable material such as wax. This also applies to large metal shapes, such as steel girders in old train stations..
The wax mold is doused with liquid stone, such as gypsum. The dried plaster is then burned out in an oven. The burned out wax leaves a mold, which is used as casting mold.
